Last we Beccie, Nicola and I went down to London to check out the D&AD student work. It was really useful to see what other students on similar courses are up to and to look at the winners of the Student Awards. I think I've got a lot to do by this time next year!...business cards...my book and generally doing lots of good work. It's going to be a busy year!

Unfortunatly I wasn't able to go to see the exhibition, but its always interesting to see what other students are producing and where you fit on the scale of student design! (although sometimes it can be abit scary!) Was there anything or one that stood out to you more than the others?
To be quite honest, there was very little emphasis put on winners of the Student Awards - which is a bit odd as they're made out to be an absolutely fantasic prize to win. There was one of the award winners though who's work was shown elsewhere in the exhibition at the Kingston Uni stand and it was particularly memorable. I think he entered the horror brief and his work featured simple copy lines where the typoghraphy was made up of torch-lit faces. It was really impressive. You can see one of the posters here: http://www.creativereview.co.uk/crblog/dad-student-winners/
As far as Uni work went London College of Communication had dome really good stuff, as did Kingston. Three was so much to see though!
